Jeep Orange Peele: An Ultra-Personalized Wrangler That Sells Dream

Based on a two-door Wrangler, the Jeep Orange Peelz is the perfect representation of the feeling of freedom that the models of the American brand provide thanks to their exceptional off-road capabilities. This showcar was made mainly using spare parts available from the Jeep Performance Parts catalog, it is present at the Easter Jeep Safari 2021.

Between March 27 and April 4, 2021, the Easter Jeep Safari takes place on the steep trails of Moab, Utah, USA. This event, bringing together many fans of the famous all-terrain vehicle manufacturer, can count on the presence of seven new concept cars with which Jeep made the trip. The goal is to promote the new Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) and Mopar spare parts to the main interested parties. The Jeep Orange Peelz is thus a concentrate of what customers can achieve on their own Wrangler by drawing from the catalog of parts dedicated to this emblematic model of the American manufacturer. Designers from the Mopar personalization department responsible for the project also removed the side and rear windows from the vehicle and then installed JPP half doors, before adding a removable one-piece Freedom Top glass sunroof.

The Jeep Orange Peelz concept is powered by the 3.6 Pentastar V6 developing 285 hp and 352 Nm of torque slightly improved by a JPP additional air intake and a JPP cat-back exhaust system. It is mated to an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Thanks to a 2-inch (5 cm) JPP lift kit, the ground clearance increases by the same amount, while the FOX shock absorbers allow you to negotiate ruts with even more flexibility. Reinforced 17-inch aluminum rims, painted black and paired with 37-inch diameter BF Goodrich KM3 tires, sit under custom steel fender flares.

At the base of the Mopar windshield made of reinforced “Corning Gorilla Glass” resistant to stone chips, are mounted JPP off-road Jeep Wrangler LED headlights lights 5 inches in diameter offering an output of 4,800 lumens between them. Lower down, the custom JPP Rubicon steel bumper incorporates a Rubicon Warn winch capable of pulling up to 3,628 kg. Protections have been added to the underbody to keep your mind at ease even off the beaten track. Finally, the JPP Swing Gate hinge reinforcement allowed the installation of a larger spare tire, with centering of the third brake light at the rear thanks to another kit signed JPP.

In the open interior of the Jeep Orange Peelz concept, there is a body-matched check pattern on the seat cushions, seatbacks and center armrest. Dash inserts and orange stitching complete the unique style of this very special Jeep Wrangler. Many additional accessories are installed to make life easier for users in crossing situations, such as rubber mats with integrated drain plug to facilitate cleaning of the interior. Decidedly, nothing is too beautiful, too practical or too expensive when it comes to equipping your beautiful 4×4 and Jeep has understood this!
