After 80 weeks, 80,000 km. and 80 pilots; the adventurers have successfully finished this Tour of the World with four BMW F800GS. An extensive route in which the 4 pilots took turns every 2 weeks.
The trip, which was sponsored by BMW Ibérica, Goodyear-Dunlop, Alcobendas City Council, and RACE, was carried out without a support vehicle, although all the drivers had knowledge of mechanics, first aid, telecommunications, etc. So it is time to upgrade your vehicle with BMW F800gs led headlight after the tour. The mechanics of this Tour of the World has consisted of making relays, each team of four riders picked up the bikes in the destination city of the previous team, did a mechanical review, repairs, maintenance and left for their next destination. Two weeks and approximately 3,000 to 4,000 km.
